Mark Caballero, Seamus Walsh, and Christopher Finnegan lead the animation collective known as Screen Novelties. Their whimsical approach to filmmaking combines classic cartoon dynamics with puppetry and stop-motion. Their work has earned them kudos from the likes of Seth MacFarlane and film legend Ray Harryhausen. Screen Novelties’ award winning short films include Mysterious Mose, The Tortoise & the Hare, and Monster Safari, which is currently being developed as a feature film. The trio was instrumental in launching Robot Chicken and Moral Orelfor Adult Swim. They have directed segments for Cartoon Network’s Chowder, Flapjack, and Adventure Time, Fox’s Family Guy, and for the 2103 Oscars. They have also directed two Christmas Specials— It’s a SpongeBob Christmas and Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas, which was nominated for 7 Annie Awards, including Best Direction and Best Special Production for TV. The group has directed commercials for clients such as Nike, McDonald’s, Hallmark, and Google.
